Tamms, Illinois - CHARLES SMITH--Funeral services for Charles Smith, age 37 years, veteran of the world war, whose death occurred suddenly Saturday (Sept. 26, 1932) while he was at work on bridge construction near Elco, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his brother Robert Smith in Tamms.

The Rev. H. E. Vick, pastor of the Tamms Baptist Church, will conduct the services, and interment will be made in Hazelwood Cemetery.

Alder and Parker will direct the funeral. Mr. Smith is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lillie Smith, and three small sons; five sisters and three brothers. His widow is the daughter of William Dailey of Elco. Mr. Smith had always resided in the vicinity of Tamms. He served in the World War and later was employed by the Mobile and Ohio Railroad Company for a number of years.
