She married William Emmett Murphy 20 June 1894 in Cole County, Missouri. Her second husband was David Lewis Duden.

Mrs. Lillian A. Duden, 76, died early yesterday at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. Death was attributed to a heart condition.

Mrs. Duden was born at Centertown, the daughter of the late William and Minerva Anderson. She had made her home with her daughter and son in law, Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Duvall, 704 Broadway St., for several years.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and of the Mary and Martha Circle of the church. Her husband, D.L. Duden, died in 1935.

In addition to Mrs. Duvall, survivors are two sons, R.G. Murphy, California and E.A. Murphy, Lohman; one sister, Mrs. Mary E. Michael, Ironton; three brothers, R. E. Anderson and John Anderson, both of Centertown and William Anderson, Sedalia; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday in the Centertown Baptist Church with the Rev. A.D. Duncan and the Rev. Robert Young officiating. Burial will be in Centertown Cemetery.
