She was born August 11, 1937 in Pittsburg, to Wallace A. “Sam” McClure and Helen (Rice) McClure.
She came to Parsons with her parents in 1942 and she attended Parsons schools.
On April 30, 1954 she and Merle R. Kite were married in Parsons. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1989.
In the early 1970’s she managed the Peter Pan Ice Cream Store in Parsons and later she owned and operated a Dairy Queen for a few years.
Priscilla was a member of the First Christian Church. From 1969 to 1982 she was active as a leader for the Inglish Boosters 4-H Club. She loved to read and travel.
Her survivors include her son, and his wife, of Vinita; four grandchildren, Oklahoma; Three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home, with Allen Dunn officiating. Burial will be in the Valley Cemetery northwest of Parsons. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the First Christian Church of Parsons. They may be left at or sent to the funeral home at Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357.
