CURRY, William L. 9/05/1925 - 4/16/2015
Bill was born September 5, 1925 in Lake Creek, Idaho. Son of Wilbur A. Curry and Fern E. (Wing) Curry, now deceased. Bill graduated from Worley Idaho High School-1943. Upon graduating, Bill joined the Military in World War ll, as many young men did at that time. On completing his service he married and had a daughter, Cassandra, now deceased and a son, Jody, of Las Vegas, Nevada. Bill joined the U.S. Navy Reserve and was with the Navy until retirement. He was employed by the Washington Correction Service on McNeil Island, Washington Prison until he transferred to the U.S. prison system in Danbury, Connecticut. Bill advanced to be Head of Counselors at Danbury before retirement in 1978. He served two tours in Vietnam with the U.S. Navy Seabees (C.B.) constructing airfields. Bill retired from the Navy as a Chief Warrant Officer. He will be interred at a later date in Mica Peak Cemetery Lake Creek, amongst his ancestors of both his father's and mother's family.
