Charles Wesley Moore's death certificate says he was born in Texas, but census records in Texas show he was born in Louisiana. His WW1 draft registration record in Grayson County, TX, shows his date of birth as 17 Dec 1872 and his nearest relative as his mother, Isabel Moore of Sherman, Grayson County, TX. The 1900 census of Galveston, TX shows he was born December 1872 in Louisiana. He was a machinist retired from Reed Roller Bit.
The information on his memorial is actually for Charles William Moore, who died in Houston on February 4, 1962, but was buried with his wife, Bessie, in Asheville, NC.
