Obituary (April 3rd, 1928): Mrs. F. S. Tressner Dies of Meningitis At Ranch Near Joliet
Mrs. Rosella Tressner, wife of Frank S. Tressner, died at the ranch home seven miles north of Joliet Monday morning of serebrospinal meningitis which followed an attack of influenza.
Mrs. Tressner was born at Burlington, Wyo., Dec. 15, 1901. She moved with her parents to Joliet 23 years ago. Dec. 20, 1917, she married Frank S. Tressner, and moved with him to the ranch north of Joliet.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Christian church in Joliet. Interment will be in the Joliet cemetery.
Besides the husband, Mrs. Tressner is survived by six children, Helen Alice, 9, Gertrude Elizabeth, 8, Mary Ann, 6, Patricia Audrey, 4, Charles William, 2, and Evelyn Charlotte, 8 months, her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Christopherson of Joliet; four sisters, Mrs. Marinda Brophy of Joliet, Mrs. Abigail Laughery of Joliet, Mrs. Alice Leimbach of Casper, Wyo., and Miss Marjorie Christopherson of Joliet, and three brothers, France E. Christopherson, a student at the Eastern Montana Normal school, and Frank and Fritz J. Christopherson of Joliet.
Rosey married Frank Tresner in Forsythe, in December, 1917. She died in Joliet April 2, 1928.
