This site if for my grandfather whom I never met. My dad's family came to Canada when my dad was 13 years old and is now 66. His father was in the war and that is where he died somewhere near Africa from what I understand, although i'm not sure about that. He died when my father was six months old. At 13 when they came to Canada, they came with my grandmother, Anna Maria Bartolo Franze, who is also on my interments. I spoke to my grandmother several years ago about my grandfather and she just would say, "He was a good man, took care of things and was a wonderful husband". I wish I could have met him, better yet I wish my dad could have had more time with his father. He doesn't remember much about him either but loved his father and mother equally. God Bless you Nonno, (Grandpa) and watch over us all. Joe can now meet you as none of us were granted that gift, "yet". Take care of him for me. Rest in Peace Nonno.

Thanks to Karen with Blessings for sponsoring this site. A wonderful gesture for my grandfather, thanks again Karen!!
