This is John Burnett Jr. From Nelson County and Washington County, Kentucky, born in Essex County, Virginia. He is listed in census starting in 1830, and John Burnett while living in Grayson County in 1843 stated in a war pension affidavit that Susanna Morgan Pryor was a sister to his mother and that she resided with his parents in Nelson County, Kentucky prior to her marriage and that the wedding supper was served in the home of his parents. He did not state the name of his parents but said that they were from Virginia. He also stated that he was 67 years old. John Burnett also swore an affidavit for a bounty land warrant, on the behalf of Susanna Pryor, that she was married to Simon Pryor before his death. He also stated that he did not witness the marriage but was at his fathers house when all arrived for a feast.
