Mickie Zeanne Alwerdt, 60, of Altamont passed away at 1:25 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial hospital, Effingham.
As per Mickie's wishes, there will be no public visitation or services held at this time. Family and friends will have a celebration of Mickie's life at a later date. Mickie was born on Jan. 5, 1955, in Effingham, the daughter of Delbert C. and Eva (Tucker) Evans. She had a love for antiques, music, enjoying the outdoors, and sharing time with family and friends.
Mickie is survived by her daughters, Cody (husband, Kenneth) Scott of Altamont and Jessie Alwerdt of Tampa, Fla; grandson, Jack Scott, granddaughter, Ava Scott, brother, Steven Clark (wife, Linda) Evans of Mode, and sister-in-law, Donna Evans of Maryville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Ronnie Evans.
