Mrs. Sarah Ollie Eagleson, colored, 61 years of age, died at 7:35 a.m. today at her home, 925 west Seventh street. Her condition had been critical since last Friday when she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Eagleson was the widow of the late Prston Eagleson, who died 27 years ago. She had been employed as a cook at the Delta Gamma sorority house. She was a member of the Bethel A. M. E. church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Albert Bridgewaters of this city; a brother, Charles Wilson, Indianapolis, and five grandchildren, Wilson Vashon Eagleson, Jr., Rosalind Eagleson, Albert Louis Bridgewaters, Jr., David Preston Bridgewaters, and John Newlan Bridgewaters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. WEdnesday at the Bethel A. M. E. church and will be in charge of the Rev. M. A. Lowe. Interment will be in Rosehill cemetery.
The body will remain at the Day mortuary until 10 a.m. Tuesday and will then be taken to the home.
