Born in Greenville, Ohio, Jan, 13, 1903, he had lived most of his life in this area, and was former superintendent for NIPSCO in the Goshen District. He was a member of the Plymouth United Church of Christ.
On June 17, 1925, he married Mary Moore Munson.
Surviving are the widow; one son, Capt Fred H. Baughman, with the Navy at Potomac, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Donn H. Spilman of Osceola; two grandchildren and one sister.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 an to 9 pm Thursday in the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where services will be at 18 am Friday, Rev. Paul F. Koepke officiating. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery.
