GOSHEN.Palmer Baughman, 67, of 212 Egbert St, retired Northern Indiana Public Service Co. executive, died at 5:30 pm Monday in Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Lake Worth, Fla., where he had been a patient since Jan. 8.
Born in Greenville, Ohio, Jan, 13, 1903, he had lived most of his life in this area, and was former superintendent for NIPSCO in the Goshen District. He was a member of the Plymouth United Church of Christ.
On June 17, 1925, he married Mary Moore Munson.
Surviving are the widow; one son, Capt Fred H. Baughman, with the Navy at Potomac, Md.; one daughter, Mrs. Donn H. Spilman of Osceola; two grandchildren and one sister.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 an to 9 pm Thursday in the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where services will be at 18 am Friday, Rev. Paul F. Koepke officiating. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery.
