Poneraz Basler died Thursday, September 30, 1915,aged 72 years, after a lingering illness. He was married to Miss Mary Rehm 48 years ago and has been a resident of this county most of his life.
Besides his wife be leaves 7 children, Joseph, Chailes, William, Lawrence, Valentine, Regina, Mrs. Joseph Schweiss and Elizabeth, Mrs. Henry Iseman and 38 grandchildren.

The funeral took place from the Catholic Church at Bloomsdale Friday, October 1st, and his remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery.
