Othella Shelton Gober, 75, of Arab died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Gober was born May 31, 1938 in Cullman County to James H. and Rebecca O. Shelton. She was married to Quiton T. Gober, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Ruth Baptist Church and has lived in the Arab area for more than 50 years. She retired from Eaton Corporation.
The funeral was at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Brindlee Mountain Chapel in Morgan City with Randy Blakely and Jeff Warren officiating and Brindlee Mountain Chapel and Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Marshall County Shepherd's Cove or Comfort Care Hospice.
