Clifford DeWitt Black, 83 of Kingsland, Texas passed away on June 2, 2015. He was born to John Samuel and Ollie Mae (Reed) Black on August 26, 1931 in Nevada, Missouri.

Mr. Black was a masonry contractor by trade and enjoyed working on anything mechanical, cars, trucks, etc. He was a member of the Cross and Spurs Cowboy Church in Buchanan Dam, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Jean, whom he married on December 2, 1949. He is also survived by daughter, Nancy Bayouth and her husband, Ted of Thousand Oaks, California, sons, Clifford Black, Jr. and his wife, Allie, of Cathedral City, California, Ken Black and his wife, Sue of Kingsland, Texas, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, brother, Melvin Black, of New Jersey, Robert Black of Santa Maria, California, Marvin Black of Fredericksburg, Texas, sister Clara Townsend of Anchorage, Alaska. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Timothy Black, and brothers, John Black, Chester Black, Lester Black, Ernie Black, sisters Daisy Mae Rowland, and Mildred Ellen.

Graveside services will be at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Park Road 4 in Burnet, Texas. Reverend Johnny Sawyer will officiate. An online guest register may be signed at www.PutnamCares.com
