Word was received of the death of Mrs. Mary E. Reynolds, of Palatka, Fla. She moved to Florida a year ago. Funeral service at the home of E. Beecher. The remains were accompanied by Miss Emma Reynolds, a daughter. Others from a distance were Mrs. Bell James and the Thomas Mercer's of Memphis, Tenn. The sons of the deceased, [Joseph] Adlai and William were both ill.
Mrs. Reynolds was the mother of Mrs. E. [Ophelia] Beecher and Mrs. Dr. E.T. [Sarah] Hall of this city, Mrs. Otha Parish of Tyler, Texas, Mrs. [Johanaha] Belle James [1851-1911] of Memphis, Miss Emma, William and Adlai Reynolds, all of Florida. She was 70 years of age.
