Cynthia Nett Taylor was the 4th child of William B. Taylor (1839-1885) and Helena Pettit (1841-1901). She spent all of her life in Wetzel Co., West Virginia. It was there that she met and married her husband, Benjamin Shuman, born 1864, of Monongalia, West Virginia.
Benjamin's parents are believed to be Daniel Shuman (1834-1909) and Sidney Kuhn (1835-1919)
Cynthia and Benjamin's marriage took place on August 1, 1886. The marriage ended prematurely when Cynthia died during surgery on May 22, 1895.
Children? I can only go by an Ancestry entry stating that she had 2 children: Harry (1888) and Myrtle 1890). Nothing more is definitely known by me of her husband Benjamin after her death. The children seemed to have vanished too. Harry may have died in Summit, Ohio, in 1973.
