She was born in Springwater Sept. 14, 1887, the daughter of Frank E. and Mary Selbig Lawrence.
She and her late husband, William, operated a farm in the Town of Springwater for several years. She had resided in Rochester for more than 50 years, recently with two of her daughters.
She had observed her birthday last month by visiting her half-brothers, Merton and Herman Lawrence of Dansville.
Also surviving are a son, Lawrence; three daughters, Mrs. Roderick (Edna) McLeod, Esther Peck and Mary Kurzrock all of Rochester; and several grandchildren and great-grand-children.
A memorial service was conducted Sunday in Rochester. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery there. (Genesee Country Express, November 1, 1984, p13)
