Born in Eldridge, Walker Co AL, son of John Jones HANEY and Lucindy Catherine (L.C.) HOGAN. Worked in the railroad part of Woodward Iron Co in Brighton, Jefferson Co AL until he retired and located to Auburn in 1950s. His oldest daughter, Pattie Haney, lived with him and Amanda until they both died on Moores Mill Rd in Auburn.
