PETRARCA, SALVATORE F., 77, of Garnett St., died Monday at Jane Brown Hospital.
He was the husband of Jean A. (Winters) Petrarca .
He was the son of the late Rosario and Aurelia (Ucci) Petrarca
Mr. Petrarca had worked for the Providence Sewer Treatment Department for more than sixteen years, retiring in 1989.
An avid boxing fan, after retirement he volunteered and trained boxers with the Coventry Boxing Assn.
He was a World War II army veteran.
He is survived by three stepsons, a sister, two brothers, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Getulio, Anthony, Albert, Dominic Petrarca, Delores McNeil and Mary Donahue.
