Born in Providence, a son of the late Rosario and Euleria (Ucci) Petrarca, he lived in Warwick for 44 years. He was a Coast Guard veteran of the Korean War era.
Mr. Petrarca was an electrician, and was employed by Walco Electric in Providence for several years before retiring 15 years ago.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Raymond J. Petrarca, and a daughter, Lynn A. Petrarca, both of Warwick; a sister, Phyllis Cornicelli, and a brother, Frederick Petrarca, both of West Warwick. He was the brother of the late Mary Donahue, Jim Petrarca, Anthony Petrarca, Salvatore Petrarca, Albert Petrarca, Anna Petrarca, Dolores McNeil, and Domenic Petrarca.
