There are three addresses listed on his 1942 draft registration card, which says he worked in a hospital at the time. Jennie Mae, who lived in Philadelphia, was his point of contact. He died 6 months later and Jennie Mae signed the DC.
According to one census record he had only a 2nd grade education, but could read and write (possibly the 2 meant 2 years of high school, but the census taker should have known what he was doing)
