Edna was born in Ashland on Market St. She lived with her father after he was widowed (in 1918) until his death in 1923. In 1930 and '40 she lived in Pottsville, working as a seamstress in a hospital. At the end of her life she returned to Ashland into the house on Market and 13th that she had lived in with her Dad. She died in Philadelphia, spending her last 8 weeks with sister Jennie Bateman.
