They traveled extensively and Anne returned to some of their favorite destinations: England, Ireland, Kenya and Jamaica. For many years, Rehoboth Beach was her home for the summer.
Anne was a member of St. Ann’s Church, and for a number of years supported St. Mary’s Church on the East Side.
She is survived by her brother, Thomas J FitzSimmons; her sister, Marie FitzSimmons; her brother in law, Jonathan Enos; her nephew, Jeffery F. Enos; and a host of caring cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St Ann’s Church, Gilpin Avenue and Union Street, Wilmington on Saturday morning, June 20 at 9:30AM. Interment will follow at Lower Brandywine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Saint Ann’s School, 2006, Shallcross Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19806.
