Service Details
Celia Turner, 92, went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2015. She loved her family and friends and was happiest when surrounded by them. She loved square dancing & working at the St. Andrew Baptist Center of Hope. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Roy Turner. She is survived by her daughters, Celia Jean Allan, JoAnn (Ricky) Jenks and Karen (Myron) Overstreet; her three grandchildren, Jared Jenks, Karma Jenks and Chris Allan; her sister, Allene Snider and her brother, Gene (Betty) Harrison and many special friends. Special thanks for the care provided by St. Andrew Bay Skilled Nursing Center. A service celebrating Celia's life will be held 11 am, Saturday at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Friends will be received that morning from 10-11 am. Interment will take place in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to either St. Andrew Baptist Church Center of Hope or to Covenant Hospice.
