Charles Abramson, 85, died on Monday November 15, 2004 at Pembroke Memorial Hospital in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Charlie retired to Florida in 1985.

Born April 18, 1919 in Harrisburg, a son of Sarah and Harry Abramson. On November 16, 1947 he married Irene Green.

Charlie served in the Army Air Corps, he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant. During World War II, he served in North Africa and Italy. He was a partner in W.R. Hickey Beer Distributors. He belonged to VFW, American Legion, Elks Country Club, and Centre Hill Country Club. He was also a past president of the Jewish Community Center in State College. When he retired to Florida, he wa a director of Hollybrook Residential Community.

He is survived by his wife, his son: Ellis and his wife, Lynn Abramson; a daughter: Bonnie Abramson; two grandchildren; his brother: Fred Abramson; and three sisters: Jean Abramson, Peany Sherman, and Frieda Caplan. He was preceded in death by siblings: Ike Abramson and Beatrice Seidner.
