Port Huron-Services for George Sawdon, 75, 1714 7th street were held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Pollack Randall Funeral Home, Richard Crisman, pastor of the Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
Mr. Sawdon died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1981 in Port Huron Hospital after a short illness.
He was born Oct. 17, 1906, in Port Huron. He married Lillian Dickinson Nov. 27, 1926 in Port Huron.
Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ.
Pallbearers are Thomas M., George L., and Kevin L. Smith, and Dale G., and Dan T. Sawdon.

Sawdon's Mark 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Sawdon will be honored at an open house reception in observance of their 50th Wedding Anniversary, November 28.
It will be held in their home, 1714 Seventh Street, Port Huron from 2-5 p.m. Friends, Neighbors, and Relatives are invited.
The couple were married November 27, 1926, in the Parsonage of First Presbyterian Church, Eighth and Wall Street.
They have two Children Mrs. Mary Smith, Snover, and Thomas R. Sawdon, Port Huron, 13 grand children and 9 great grandchildren.
