MACON - Norma Amerson passed away peacefully Sunday, June 11, 2006. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 14 at Christ Chapel on Bass Rd. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Rev. John Wood and Rev. Isaac Davis will officiate. -Mrs. Amerson was born in Taylor County. She was preceded in death by her father, General Lee Childree. She was an active member at Christ Chapel and was an office manager at Georgia Cancer Specialist in Macon. -She will be missed by her husband of twenty-one years, Ben Amerson; daughters, Julie Amerson and Heather Foushay both of Macon; son, Michael Amerson of Macon; mother and stepfather, Catherine and Charles McKuhen of Macon; sister, Colleen Whitehead (Kirby) of Fort Valley; brother, Roger Lynn Chidree (Nancy) of Warner Robins; grandsons, Daylon and Aston Lassiter of Macon; nephews, Chad Grooms and Cameron Childree. -The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 13 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. -Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. -www.maconmemorial parkfuneralhome.com Published in The Telegraph on 6/13/2006.
