Charley Blin, a life long resident of the Cainsville community, was born October 2, 1892, in the Lynn neighborhood and died March 3, 1971 at his home in Cainsville. He was the son of John and Barbara Blin. On February 6, 1923, he was married to Agnes Mlika.
He is survived by his wife, Agnes, of the home; one brother, Will Blin, Marion, Iowa; one sister, Mary Blin, a resident of Crestview; and by several nieces and nephews.
He was a good neighbor and friend and enjoyed associating with people. He enjoyed his home and took much pride in keeping it neat and attractive. He was clever in designing and making articles for neighbors as well as for himself. After visiting Charley one felt that his life had been enriched.
He Is Just Away
"I cannot say, and I shall not say,
That he is dead, He is just away;
With a cheery smile and a wave of his hand,
He has wandered into an unknown land;
And he left us dreaming how very fair,
It needs must be since he lingers there;

Services were held at the Stoklasa Funeral Home March 5, 1971 at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Noel T. Adams officiating. Burial was in the Bohemian Cemetery southwest of Cainsville.
