He was survived by his wife, two sons, his mother, sister and her husband and brother and his wife. Other survivors included mother in law, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Abraham was preceded in death by his father Pedro Perea and bother Steven Perea and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Abe loved music, fishing and four wheeling. He had a sense of humor and could be quite the jokester.
Funeral services were held at Our Lady of Purification Church in Dona Ana, NM. Burial immediately followed at the Masonic Cemetary.
Pallbearers included Eric Covarrubia, Bryan Covarrubia, Pete David Perea, Steven Matthew Perea, Robert Quinones, Gilbert Apodaca Jr, Tony Ramirez, Chris Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers were all of his nieces.
