Informant on the Missouri Death Certificate for William H Goetting was Carl Goetting. Only place I have seen the name Carl so far.

Christian Karl Philipp Götting was born Nov 09, 1845 in Mühlhausen bei Twiste, Waldeck, present
day Germany. His father, Johann Philipp Götting, was stationed in the military in nearby Arolsen;
his mother, Friedericke Johanna Marie Schiller, was born Jul 29, 1825, in Mühlhausen. His father
was from Wellen, Waldeck, where Christian Karl Philipp, know as Charles C. or CC in the US, was
raised as the oldest of 11 children. He immigrated to the US through New York City on Dec 06,
1867, with his brother Wilhelm Heinrich Götting, William H. Goetting in the US, Find a Grave #
94999082.
Charles C. Goetting married Karoline Adolphine Alberding apparently in 1868 in Allegheny City,
Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Adolphine was born in the village of Langenthal, Hesse-Kassel
also known as Chur-Hessen or Kur-Hessen, and immigrated in 1867. CC and Adolphine lived first
in Pennsylvania, then Alabama and Ripley County,Missouri and, finally, in Orange County, California, where they
died and were buried. During his lifetime, Charles worked as a cooper, a farmer, an undertaker and
a merchant.

Charles and Adolphine were the parents of 10 children:
