Co.I,19th Va.Cav.Regt.;Co.D,20th Va.Cav.Regt.∼Son of Joseph Coberly and Nancy (Williams) Coberly. Williams had siblings Mary Ann and Elizabeth Jane Coberly.

Williams married 1840, Mary Wilmoth, daughter of Thomas and Anna (Schoonover) Wilmoth. They had children; Eliza, Haymond, Caroline, Elizabeth J., Joseph B., Nancy C., and Edmond Wilmoth Coberly.

Nancy brought into the marriage a son, Andrew Jackson Wilmoth (38302474) who Williams raised as his own.
