SWAINSBORO -- Billie Jean Adams, 61, died Feb. 8 at Emanuel Medical Center. She was a native of Emanuel County, a homemaker and a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: her husband, Jerry Adams of Swainsboro; three daughters, Helen Hood of Alamo, Vickie Williams of Swainsboro and Beth Sapp of Allentown; three sons, Bobby Edenfield and Vance Adams, both of Swainsboro, and Milton Edenfield of Allentown; four sisters, Virginia Morgan, Opal Bridges and Barbara Brown, all of Glenwood, and Gladys Armstrong of Swainsboro; three brothers, John Henry and Roy Scarboro, both of Glenwood, and J.C. Henry of Swainsboro; and 13 grandchildren.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday at Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary, burial in Sand Hill Cemetery near Swainsboro. -Savannah Now, Feb 2000
