MRS MARY ELLEN KNODE died this morning at 8 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George W Hammond, near Williamsport, from general debility, aged 80 years.
One son, Samuel C; daughter, Mrs. George Hammond; and a sister, Mrs. R M Harper, Sharpsburg, survive. Also 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services Monday at 2 pm in the Bakersville Church. Interment in the cemetery adjoining.
