Nancy A. Rhoads, 63, of York, died Sunday, November 3, at Manor Care Health Services South.
Mrs. Rhoads retired in 1981 from Drovers Bank. She was a 1957 graduate of William Penn Senior High School. She was a member of Fourth United Methodist Church, York, Ladies Auxiliary of Laurel Fire Company, York OPEN and Embroiders' Guild of America.
Born in York May 28, 1939, she was a daughter of Kenneth D. and Pauline (Bausman) Raffensberger of York.
She also leaves her husband, Charles D. Rhoads, to whom she was married for 44 years Jan. 25, 1958; two daughters, Jill E. Volz of Felton and Kelly L. Rhoads of York; three grandchildren; and three brothers, Jack Raffensberger of East Prospect, James Raffensberger and Steven Raffensberger, both of York.
Visitations will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St. The service is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jonathan L. Bausman, her cousin and pastor of St. Paul's Chapel U.M. Church, officiating. Burial is in Mount Rose Cemetery.
