Pauline M. Raffensberger, 93, died at York Hospital on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. She was the wife of the late Kenneth D. Raffensberger.

Born December 3, 1917, in York, she was the daughter of the late Lillian M. (Kohler) and Walter E. Bausman, Sr.

Being married to a professional baseball player, Pauline's passion was reminiscing about the baseball days. She loved to talk about her travels to St. Louis, Chicago, Cincinnati, Florida, and California during Ken's career. Pauline also loved family gatherings every Sunday at the bungalow at Accomac.

Pauline is survived by three sons, James Raffensberger of York, Steven Raffensberger and his wife, Sara of York, and Jack Raffensberger of East Prospect; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lester Bausman of Hellam. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Rhoads; a son, Michael Raffensberger; a grandson, Adam Raffensberger; a daughter-in-law, Louise Raffensberger; two sisters; and a brother.

Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
