Marjanna Koczorowska was born on December 6, 1865 in Dombrowka, Poznan, Poland. Her parents were Wojciech Koczorowski and Jozefa Grzeskowiak.

Piotr Cerbin and Marjanna Koczorowska were married on February 10, 1889, in Dabrowka Kosscielna, Gniezno, Poland.

Marjanna came to America on the ship Hermann, with her husband Piotr, and their son Anthony. The ship left from Bremen, Germany and arrived in the port of Baltimore, Maryland on April 30, 1891. Traveling with them on the same ship were his brother Antoni Cerbin and his wife Maryanna Cerbin. (Antoni & Maryanna Cerbin's names were listed on the passenger list as Cerbin, but in America they went by Serbin.)

At the time of her death on March 3, 1928, they were living at 2300 West Cullerton, 21st Ward, Chicago, Cook Co., Ill. She was buried on March 7, 1928.
