Married Oscar Goldie Stephens 24 Oct 1936 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of William Harlston Hughey and Dessie Mona Rackley Hughey. Mrs. Marsena Hughey Stephens, 56, died in the Hamilton Memorial Hospital Friday night at 9 o'clock. She is survived by two sons, Mr. Winston Stephens and Mr. Wendell Stephens both of Dalton; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Leonard of Boonville, N.Y., Mrs. Florrie Leach of Shannon, GA, and Miss Adie Hughey of Calhoun, Ga.; two brothers, Mr. Kermit Hughey of Calhoun, GA. and Mr. Dennis Hughey of Marietta, GA. Two grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gordon County with Rev. Dewitt Lewis and Rev. Larry Hilberts officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery with Love Funeral Home in charge.The body remained at the funeral home in parlor A.
