John, like many generations to come, was a Quaker.
He was born in Brechenbrough, Yorks, England.
He married Ann Clibben in 1657 in Ireland.
I have a bit on information on him and am searching Chester Co. records for more detailed aspects of his life.... will be adding/updating asap.
Land was in the New Garden area and several Millers were a part of New Garden MM, including a namesake grandson.

This MAY be his father: #191854462
