LaVon was born July 10, 1918 to John and Amelia Colbert.
She married James C. Marsh on November 15, 1938; later solemnized in the LDS Temple on August 24, 1964.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings.
She was a very kind, gentle soul who loved and enjoyed her family.
Survived by her daughters, Joan (Laury) Hollings, Connie (Todd) Greene, Marian (John) Kwant, and Sandra Marsh. Preceded in death by her husband, sons, Jay and Bill; parents, and siblings.
A viewing will be held at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, on Monday, August 10, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 9:30-10:45 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
Interment at the Kaysville City Cemetery.
