SHELBYVILLE -- Mrs John (Harriett Kirkpatrick Howe) Jordan, 75, of Shelbyville died 7:55 a.m. Saturday, (Dec 10, 1988) in her home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home, Shelbyville, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. Memorials: Shelbyville First United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.
Mrs Jordan was born in Pana, daughter of Charles and Laura Kirkpatrick. She was associated with Kessler-Howe Funeral Home, Shelbyville, from 1956 to 1970 and was a partner in Howe & Yockey Funeral Home from 1970 to 1975. She was a member of Shelbyville First United Methodist Church and Shelbyville VFW Auxiliary. She married Mont G Howe in 1936. He died in 1970. She married John H Jordan in 1973.
Surviving are her husband; son, John Bob Jordan of Woweaqua; daughter, Mrs Bill (Suzie) Moore of Warrensburg; Mrs Kenny (Nancy) Morris of Rochester; brother, Marion Kirkpatrick of Vandalia; nine grandchildren. One brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
