Anna Maciejewski, nee Bureta, 85, of Cedar Ridge in West Bend, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2005 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph's Hospital in the town of Polk.
She was born on July 26, 1920 in Milwaukee to the late John and Stella (nee Golembiewski) Bureta, and on Feb. 26, 1941 she was united in marriage to Chester Maciejewski.
He preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1993.
Anna loved to go bowling and enjoyed playing cards.
She was also very fond of family meals spent together.
Survivors include three sons, Marvin, Robert (Diana) and James (Linda) Maciejewski; her four beloved grandchildren, Donna (Dave) Bradley, Sandra (Andrew) Robertson, Michelle Maciejewski and Matthew Maciejewski; a cherished great-grandson, Bryce Robertson; two step-grandchildren, Gwen (Steve) Mather and Raymond (Angela) Grill Jr.; three great-step-grandchildren, Wyatt Mather, and Emily and Brooke Grill. She is further survived by a brother, Jacob (Lorraine) Bureta; a sister, Catherine (John) Burt; a cousin, Celia Bureta; other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, her daughter, Marilyn, and a sister, Louise Testdorf.
A funeral service in loving remembrance of Anna will be held on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 3 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service of West Bend.
Father Jeffrey Haines will officiate, and burial will take place on Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church Cemetery in Elm Grove.
