Ailene Kidd, age 82, of Honaker, KY, widow of Miles Kidd, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 at her residence. She was born August 7, 1927 in Honaker, KY, a daughter of the late Marion and Zelma Mae Williams Akers. She was a homemaker.She is survived by one son; Christopher Eric (Stephanie) Kidd, Auxier, KY, one sister: Nova Clark, Honaker, KY, two grandchildren; DeAnna Nicole and Dexter Alexander Kidd, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother; Otis Eugene Akers and one sister; Verleen Rae Kidd.Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, under the kind and professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
