Hello, I am Naquin Anita Byles Williams Chitty and Beulah Kerfoot was my father's biological mother. She was a very special lady that came into our lives in 1966. Though my father had been adopted at the age of three, around 1932, our bond with her was strong. She could not deny my dad or me as we look so much like her. My baby sister, Joy Lynn, says I have "Beulah lips". She was a spitfire and I am so proud we were able to go to San Antonia, Texas, to visit with her for a weekend before her death. My dad's half sister, Elsie Kerfoot Bagley, brought Grandmother Beulah home from the nursing home and we were able to videotape her talking about her childhood. Had it not been for this, much of this information would have been lost.
