Cosby, born Dec. 20, 1938, to the late J.W. Cosby Jr. and the late Leslie Lorene McMinn Cosby, was a retired self-employed brick mason and a member of Sardis Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Joyner Cosby of Courtland; three daughters, Tammy Cosby Darby and Sherry Cosby Bratcher, both of Pope, and Sandra Cosby Darby of Batesville; three brothers, J.W. "Bill" Cosby Jr., Robert L. "Bob" Cosby, and Charles M. Cosby, all of Courtland, and five grandchildren.
