Bill Tramel, 71, of Eldridge died Monday, July 24, 2006, in his home. He was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Pontiac, Ill.. to Harold Tramel and Elsie Ledford Tramel, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony William Tramel. On July 11, 1952, he was married to Wanda Green. He was a cement finisher.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of the home; two sons, George of Eldridge; John and his wife, Iva, of Lebanon; one daughter, Sandy and her husband, Kenny Dateman, of Republic; one sister, Ruth Flaig and her husband, Al, of Green Bay, Wis.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of the life of Bill Tramel will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, July 28, 2006 at the family home with Pastor Ed Owens officiating.
Burial will be in the Ira Cemetery on Saturday, July 29, 2006, under the direction of Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel.
