"Alderson Bailey was burned to death, his elder brother burned so badly from the waist up that he will die, and his mother, another brother and a nine-year-old sister [Gladys] were seriously injured in a fire which destroyed the home of Alexander Bailey at Bluefield, West Virginia."
The gravestone says she was born in 1859.
