Mrs. Betty B. Beasley, 77, died at home surrounded by her family, Saturday, June 13, 2015, under the care of Georgia Hospice Care.

The daughter of C. W. and Rosell Berry, she was a native of Riceboro, GA, and lived in Liberty County all her life. She was a retired civil servant, working as Budget Analyst at Winn Army Community Hospital on Fort Stewart for 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James (Jimmy) M. Beasley; children, Lamar Beasley of Fleming, Sarah Beasley of Richmond Hill, and Beverly Brown of Rincon; and sister, Doris Kersey of Oklahoma.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, June 15, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Graveside services will begin at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery. Reverend Art Stoddard will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Randy Bush, Lance Mueller, Charlie Phillips, Don Crum, Son Jeffers, and Mike Sack.

Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
