Gail married P. David Weyandt on October 14, 1967 in St Thomas Church, Reading, Pa.
Gail graduated from Reading High School with the Class of ’64. She was a member of the class reunion committee.
Gail worked in the hand bag department at Boscov’s North before becoming the office manager for Jack’s Glass. When the grandchildren started coming she retired to become day care for the four grandchildren, her most important job. After all the grandchildren grew up and went to school so did Gail. She went to work in the Muhlenberg High School cafeteria. Known to all as ”Gmom” she loved working in the cafeteria and being with her kids, as she called them. She could be found cheering for her kids on the sports teams and attended as many games as she could. She also loved to attend all the concerts and musicals.
After the grandchildren were all in school, every morning Gail could be found having breakfast at the counter of the Boscov’s North Greenery before work She had her seat at the counter and if someone was sitting in her seat they would move to another seat when she arrived.
Gail is survived by her husband of 48 years, P. David Weyandt of Laureldale. She is also survived by a daughter Jennifer O’Keefe wife of Robert O’Keefe of Spring Twp.
She is preceded in death by a son, Bradley David Weyandt and a brother Joseph Gromis of Reading. There are four grandchildren, the loves of her life, Ariana Weyandt, and Abigail, Nolan and Megan O’Keefe
