Harriet was born the daughter of Philip and Christine (MacAuley) Sullivan. Harriet pass on at Norway Rehabilitation & Living Center, in Norway, Maine.
She graduated from Mechanic Falls High School in 1950. On January 19, 1951 she married Ronald Bishop and they made their home in Hebron until 1973, when they moved to South Paris. Mr. Bishop died on June 1, 1982. Mrs. Bishop worked at various local shoe shops and factories until her retirement. She was a member of the Hebron Community Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and spending time with her cat, Babes. She was an avid Red Sox fan and especially enjoyed the company of her grandchildren. Mrs. Bishop is survived by two sons, Ronald L. of Waterville, Carl P. and his wife Barb of Hebron; two daughters, Lois Lee Farrar and her husband Roger of Durham, Roxanne Leino and her husband Kevin of Durham; two brothers, Philip Sullivan and his wife Julie of Brockton, MA, Brian Sullivan and his companion Linda Bishop of North Carver, MA; three sisters, Patricia Davis and her husband Elric of Oxford, Elinor Quigley of Quincy, MA, Linda Sullivan and her companion Mike of South Boston, MA; five grandchildren, Jason, Sean and Seth Bishop, Brett and Kaylee Leino; a sister-in-law, Beverly Russell of Berwick; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Sullivan.
