She was born May 28, 1915 in Cambridge, Idaho, a daughter of Charles and Annie Smith. She received her education in Washington.
On March 2, 1935, she married Fredrick Klingler in Tacoma, Washington. They moved to Walla Walla and later to Spokane.
In 1947, they moved to Kalispell where they operated a dairy farm. They sold the farm and moved into Kalispell where Mr. Klingler owned and operated the Klingler Lumber Company.
Mrs. Klingler was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kalispell. Her hobbies included ceramics, needle work, sewing, gardening, and fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick, in 1990 and one daughter Merlyne Kaye.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Muhlestin of Mountain View, Cheryl Brown of Vacaville, California, and Kathy Bonny of Clearfield, Utah; a sister, Olive Brown of Camarillo, California; eight grandchildren, David and Derek Muhlestin, Kathleen Wilson, Kaylynn Johnson, Michael and Tanaya Brown, Caleb and Jacob Bonny; and numerous other relatives and friends.
